Richebourg Grand Cru

Presentation

Presentation
This wine always offers great depth and astonishing length and complexity. It is both structured and sophisticated.

One is often seeking superlatives to describe it, but sometimes, should we not simply allow ourselves to be carried away by a wine?
Location
0.52 hectares of vines planted between 1931 and 1936.
This plot, considered of be one of the greatest crus of Vosne-Romanée, is also the oldest one. It is located in the historical part of Richebourg, to the south of the appellation, at around 50 meters to the north of Romanée-Conti.
Terroir
It is difficult to describe this complex terroir. There is clay and limestone, but it is its varied colors and forms that bring such complexity.
