Bourgogne "Les Grands Chaillots"

Presentation

Presentation
The origins of the grapes used to produce this cuvée give the wine an ageing potential superior to what one would expect from the Burgundy appellation. It is a surprising wine, both in terms of its length and its structure.
Location
This wine is a blend of grapes from the villages of Nuits-Saint-Georges and Chambolle-Musigny. One plot in Nuits-Saint-Georges covers one hectare with vines planted between 1978 and 1986 while the two-hectare plots in Chambolle-Musigny were planted between 1954 and 1962.
Terroir
The vines for this very special blend grow on clay-silt soils.
Varietal
Pinot Noir : 100%

Advice

Tasting
This wine is very enjoyable in its youth and will gain in complexity after a few years of ageing.
