Hautes-Côtes de Nuits "La Roche"

1.28 hectares of vines planted in 1978.
This plot is located on the highest slope in Nuits-Saint-Georges, in the village of Bevy, at 400 meters above sea level.
This soil is mainly composed of flint and limestone. The 20% slope faces southeast. We harvest the grapes around one week after the harvest on the Côtes de Nuits to ensure good maturity.
Pinot Noir : 100%

Tasting notes
This soil, which contains a good proportion of limestone, offers wines with a nice freshness. These wines do not require lengthy ageing as the altitude does not necessarily bring great density, but rather aromas of fresh fruits and flowers.
