Côte de Nuits-Villages Au Leurey Vignes de 1937

The limestone always brings more sophistication and vibrancy to this wine

Presentation

Location
This was our first plot of Côtes de Nuits-Village wines, located to the south of the Nuits-Saint-Georges appellation. It is very close (30m) to the premier crus of Clos de la Maréchal and Clos de l'Arlot, making this plot ideal for the production of a wine that is relatively powerful for the appellation.
Terroir
This plot, which was mostly planted in 1937, is located on shallow soil of around 50cm above the bedrock. It faces southeast, which ensures good maturity in this relatively early-ripening terroir. Limestone is very present in this vineyard, ensuring wonderful vigor.
Varietal
Pinot Noir : 100%
