Always very elegant and sometimes too round and charming I try to show in this wine some more freshness brings by the whole clusters who bring the sappiness of this terroir. I like to explain that I try to stretch the wine with the mineraux of the stem and to give a big length.
The vintage
1650 bottles, 72 magnums and 3 jeroboams have been produced for the vintage 2018.
Location
0,30 ha planted in 1946.

Terroir
Up-slope, the rocks are of bathonien origin, lower down the marls and limestones belong to the Jurassic (Bajocian) and numerous marine fossils are to be found on the surface, recalling the sea which covered this area some 150 million years ago.
Vinification
Harvesting is manual with 60% whole clusters.
3 weeks fermentation with a very light extraction.
50% of new oak barrels are used for an aging period of 20 months.

Tasting
Always shows a beautiful elegance and a great purity. This wine is characterized by its roundness and complexity with a longer finish and a little different kind of freshness compared to the beginning of the mouth.
