The vintage
17418 bottles, 721 bottles, 25 jeroboams have been produced in 2018.
Location
1ha of the Domaine’s plot was planted between 1978 and 1986.
2ha of Bourgogne plots situated in Chambolle-Musigny were planted between 1954 and 1962.
Terroir
Since the 2010 vintage this cuvée is a blend of different terroirs located on the Côte de Nuits:
- 1/3 comes from the vines of the domain in appellation Bourgogne located on the commune of Nuits Saint Georges on clay-silt soils.
- 2/3 comes from the vines of the appellation Bourgogne located in the commune of Chambolle-Musigny on clay-silt soils
Vinification
Harvesting is manual with 20% whole clusters.
3 weeks of fermentation with a soft extraction.
25% of new barrels are used for an aging period of 15 months.

Advice

Tasting
This wine has raspberry and cranberry bouquet, floral with subtle vanilla notes emerging with time. The medium-bodied palate with a velvety texture offers sappy red fruit and the whole bunch lends freshness and a subtle pepperiness toward the finish.
